i happily admit that i am silly...i feel sad when i see trees being chopped down or discarded broken tree branches. while i was thinking of what kind of tree i wanted to put up this year, i came a across fabulous ideas on the internet like in my tree of inspiration post. i remembered seeing a beautiful broken tree branch by the park where we live, so i got my man to come with me so we can rescue parts of its remains, breathe new life into it and make it look gorgeous for one last time.
we've kept it ultra simple and modern by hanging tassels and jewelry instead of the usual baubles. i kept the color palette to a minimum as to enhance what remains of the gorgeous green parasite clinging on to the dead, brittle branch.
