DIY REFASHION // FERRAGAMO TASSEL SHOES

i have always been crazy over tassels. i have made all sorts of accessories using tassels from key rings to jewelry and belts (i'll be sure to photograph and add links to those diy posts soon). i have not however, accessorized a diy pair of shoes with tassels, and having seen so many beautiful embellished shoes by jimmy choo and dolce gabbana, i was inspired to give this a go.

again, i swear this diy is super easy to do, and it's not a permanent investment so you can add and remove the tassels as you please without ruining your beloved shoes.

all you need are:
1. a pair of shoes with ankle straps or ties
2. as many tassels as you wish
3. scissors if needed
string your tassels along the ankle straps in any order you choose. here i have used a pair of salvatore ferragamo espadrille flats with ankle ties
snip off the edges to shorten the tassels only if necessary...
and you're done...i told you it was easy!
depending on my outfit, i wear my shoes either laced up with the tassels spread out, or scrunched together in a bow at the back
i have paired my ferragamo espadrille flats with a pair of white cuffed shorts by mango, vest by topshop petite, h&m peplum blazer and a floral handbag by gucci for a splash of color.
if you do give this diy a try, i hope you'll have as much fun pairing colors as i did...enjoy!

xoxo
